When you, or your family, attend regular dental check-up and cleans, it enables the team at Trembath Dental to detect and treat any potential dental issues early. Preventive dentistry ensures dental issues are treated promptly, which can save you from further dental work or costs later. That could mean the difference between a simple dental filling now, and a more complex root canal treatment in the future.

Prevention is always better than the cure! We advocate to patients that saving your natural teeth is very important, as they are the only ones that you will get. Using general dentistry treatments, we can help to repair teeth, and to make them function and look better. We ensure every patient is informed on ways to maintain the health of their teeth between dental check-ups.

Preventive dentistry isn’t only about maintaining your natural teeth; it is also a significant step in achieving general wellbeing.

A dental implant can replace one, many, or all of your natural teeth. Dental implants are made from a biocompatible titanium. They are inserted into your jawbone and are often screw-like in shape and function like a normal tooth root.

A portion of the dental implant will sit above your gum line so Dr Paul Trembath can attach an artificial tooth, known as a dental crown. This ensures the dental prosthetic will be secured in place and won’t move around your mouth. The crown is colour-matched to the rest of your teeth, so you won’t even notice it!

Dental implants are a great solution to missing teeth as they mimic the function, feel and look of a normal tooth. Unlike other dental restorations, they don’t look to other teeth for support. They will bond with the jawbone and gums so no dental cement, glues or metal clasps are needed.
